TECHNIQUES

Active Release

Targets trigger points and chronic problem areas. By applying precise pressure, tension and movement, restrictions in muscles and fascia are broken up. This technique aims to restore proper function, range of motion, and decrease chronic pain.

Deep Tissue

This technique focuses on reaching deeper layers of muscle tissue. With firm pressure and slow strokes, it aims to alleviate chronic tension, loosen tight muscles, and promote relaxation, and offer relief from pain.

Swedish

This foundational technique is characterized by long, flowing strokes, kneading, and circular movements. Designed to promote relaxation and improve circulation, it gently eases muscle tension, relieves stress.

Myofascial Release

This is a specialized technique that targets the connective tissue surrounding muscles, known as fascia. By applying gentle pressure and sustained stretching, this therapy aims to release unconscious tension, and areas where fascia has gotten stuck together.

Assisted Stretching

A key modality in therapeutic massage, assisted stretching involves gently guiding and stretching the client's muscles to enhance flexibility, improve range of motion, and lengthen muscle fibers.

Prenatal Massage

This form of massage can help relieve common pregnancy-related issues such as back pain, swelling, and fatigue, while also providing emotional support and enhancing overall well-being for both mother and baby.

Sports Massage

Designed to enhance athletic performance and to help bodies recover from working out, sports massage focuses on stretching, flushing, and reconditioning muscle fibers to keep the body fit and ready for exercise.
