Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is helpful not only when you need to unwind, ground, and reset your nervous system, but it is also great for promoting muscular recovery in athletes and correcting muscular disfunction. Since everyone is different I focus on your individual needs and tailor your massage to address your specific areas of concern. My role as a massage therapist is to act as a calming and relaxing presence who listens and is responsive in an effective way. Massage sessions offer a place where you can relax and have your muscular issues resolved. It’s my hope that when you leave you’ll be feeling restored and ready to face whatever challenges life has to offer.

Back Pain

Back pain is extremely common and can manifest anywhere along the spine, but upper back and lower back pain are most common. It can feel constant and dull ache or sharp and periodic. It can come from a wide variety of sources ranging from an accident to poor posture and muscular weakness.

Common Disorders

Sciatica

The condition commonly known as sciatica is an impingement of the sciatic nerve which comes from the lumbar vertebrae and the sacrum and travels all the way down the leg to the foot. It feels like tingling, numbness, or burning in the leg and can be consistent. It may be exacerbated by prolonged sitting.

Headaches

Headaches are another common experience people have. They may come from chronic tension, too much screen time, difficulty in work or relationships, or a medical condition. Massage therapy can be very effective at relieving headaches.
